Utrecht – In the first nine months of this year, more ATM attacks were committed in the Netherlands than in the whole of 2021, when it was hit ten times. A count by ANP/LocalFocus shows that at least eleven squats took place in which damage was reported, especially in Amsterdam and the surrounding area. There were no explosions at ATMs in the province of Utrecht this year, but several suspects from Utrecht were arrested, including in Germany.
