Six patients were taken to hospital after a two-vehicle crash on Walpole Island on Sept. 10, with a driver facing an impaired charge.
At 6 pm, members of the Walpole Island Police Service and Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police responded to the scene on Tecumseh Road, along with Chatham-Kent EMS, OPP stated in a release.
The conditions of those who were transported to hospital weren’t immediately available.
The 20-year-old Wallaceburg driver has been charged with operation while impaired, causing bodily harm.
The accused was released and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice at a later date.
