On Tuesday evening, the Queen’s coffin was flown to London where it was immediately taken to Buckingham Palace. On Wednesday, the coffin will travel through London and then be placed in the middle of the great hall of Westminster Palace, Westminster Hall. For the next five days, the palace will be open to the public and, according to The Times, around 750,000 people are expected to come there to honor the Queen’s memory.
Queen Elizabeth died Thursday at Balmoral Castle in Scotland, aged 96, after 70 years on the throne.
