Here’s what Kim Cattrall has to say about the Sex and the City return without her
In an interview with Variety, the now 66-year-old says that you have to know when it’s over. For her, Sex and the City is a thing of the past:
There is great wisdom in knowing when enough is enough. I didn’t want to make any compromises eitherwhat the series was to me. The way forward seemed clear.
Whatever Kim Cattrall’s exact reasons for finalizing the Sex and the City chapter, they are legit. While it’s a shame for fans that the gang are returning without their beloved Samantha, the lives of Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte have a lot to offer in the sequel.
Carrie has to deal with a big shock in And Just Like That…, Miranda discovers completely new sides of her sexuality and Carlotte is duly challenged by her daughters. However, the way the series explains Samantha’s absence is cheeky.
