Greek Prime Minister Kiryakos Mitsotakis answered questions at the press conference held within the scope of the International Thessaloniki Fair, where each year the Prime Minister traditionally evaluates the previous year and announces his economic plan for the next year.
Mitsotakis, claiming that Turkey escalated tensions with Greece because it entered the election process and tried to show Greece as aggressive, said: “There is no one abroad who believes that the Greek islands pose a danger to Turkey, especially when the President of Turkey (Recep Tayyip Erdogan) questions the sovereignty of the Greek islands.
