What it’s like to be homeless or homeless? And how are you viewed? That is what the performance Straatslim is about. Some of the players are still homeless, others have now found a roof. But all the men in Straatslim are experts by experience. One of them is Eduard Bosman: “What I mainly encountered when I lived on the street were the stigmas that people have about you. From: you will use drugs, it is your own fault, you don’t have to be homeless. And that they looked at you like you were a pile of shit. While I’m also just human.”
