Rasmus Paludan has traveled around Sweden and held election meetings in several places. During the Friday evening, it was time for Östersund, where he had received permission to hold an election meeting in Badhusparken.
It is estimated that between 200 and 300 people came. A large majority were younger people.

During the meeting, some loudly questioned Paludan, several were also upset and sad, but overall the mood was calm.

Paludan talked for an hour. During the entire time, a large number of police officers were present.
– It has been quiet until then and we in the police are satisfied, says dialogue police officer Johan Heed.
When the gathering was over, Paludan was quickly driven away and everyone who had been in Badhusparken dispersed.
During the year, the police’s surveillance of Paludan’s meetings has cost many millions of kroner. In mid-August, Sweden’s radio Ekot reported that the police’s total bill at the time was SEK 43.5 million.
