YouTuber Connor “CDawgVA” Colquhoun, 26, rode his bike across the Japanese island of Hokkaido for a week to raise money for an immune disease foundation. The friend of the Twitch streamer ironmouse is ill herself and is overwhelmed with emotion.
This is CDawgVA: Connor is a Welsh voice actor and YouTuber. Famous for his anime and cosplay content, he now lives in Tokyo and is part of the popular Trash Taste podcast, which has also starred in the likes of Jacksepticeye and LilyPichu.
On YouTube, Connor has 3.82 million subscribers across multiple channels, and the “Trash Taste” podcast is regularly watched by over 1 million people. Now he made a name for himself with a charitable campaign.

This is what Connor has done: Together with fellow YouTuber Chris “Abroad in Japan” Broad, CDawg once rode a bike across the Japanese island of Hokkaido. In total, they covered a distance of more than 800 kilometers.
The entire “Cyclethon” was broadcast on Connor’s Twitch channel from August 29, where an average of over 16,000 people watched the action. At the culmination of the bike tour on September 5, more than 30,000 people watched (via sullygnome).

The fundraiser was so successful: On Twitter, Connor announced the end of the “Cyclethon” and shared how many donations could be collected with the campaign. The goal of $250,000 was exceeded by far.
In total, Connor and Chris raised $316,469.69 for the Immune Deficiency Foundation. According to its own statements, the foundation improves the diagnostics, treatment and quality of life of people with primary immunodeficiencies (via Twitter).

This is the emotional stream: Actually, ironmouse, who appears as a pink-haired demon girl, is known for her sassy and lively personality. But in a September 5 stream, ironmouse was overcome with her emotions.
Together with her viewers, she watched the last leg of Connors and Chris’ bike ride and gave an emotional speech at the end. She thanked the YouTubers for the fundraiser and thanked everyone who supported the event or donated money.
Her emotion was clearly noticeable. Ironmouse kept sobbing and sniffling as she thanked me extensively.
Honestly, it really means a lot to me that Connor is doing this. When he told me he was doing it, I cried so much. I cried quite a bit because it was such a surprise that someone would go out of their way to do something so incredible and unselfish, so draining on the body.
