Britain’s new prime minister, the Conservatives By Liz Truss the first question hour in the parliament passed with a strong pulse and in a tense atmosphere.
Truss and Chairman of the Labor Party Keir Starmer argued, as expected, about taxation and skyrocketing energy prices.

Truss, who will announce his government’s energy plan tomorrow, said that Britain must increase its own energy production. According to him, the energy package is not paid for with windfall tax revenues.

Starmer said Truss was putting forward more credit than was necessary. According to the leader of the Labor Party, taxpayers will have to suffer for this.

Truss replied that there is also nothing new about the Labor leader calling for tax increases.
