The Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty expansion pack, the first expansion for the game, has been announced. CD Projekt RED adds a new story to the game.
Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty DLC package was announced recently. Although CD Projekt RED has not yet given a clear release date, we can say that the additional package that has been rumored for a while has finally become official. In addition, a new story will be added to the game with the new DLC, and almost what the subject of this story will be is mentioned in the short trailer released.
Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty DLC to be released in 2023
In the short video released, we see that our main character in the game, V, has been sworn to serve the New United States. In the following seconds, we hear that the character of Johnny Silverhand, voiced by Keanu Reeves, makes a comment on this subject, as he did throughout the game. At the same time, a new weapon appears in the trailer, which is seen to be added to the game. We see V waving some sort of cyber-whip at enemies.
At the same time, a face that we will probably encounter very often in the expansion pack is also featured in the video. A woman—probably the one who made us swear—with some sort of new U.S. badge on her jacket appears briefly in front of the screen. Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty DLC will also take place in a new region added to the game. However, no further official details were shared.
The first story-driven expansion pack for Cyberpunk will be released in 2023 on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/ S and Stadia platforms.
