New devices can benefit from advanced technologies that increase connection speed and signal strength. For example, the second 5 GHz band has an additional U-NII 4 spectrum at 5.9 GHz. Since the 5.9 Ghz spectrum has never been used before, users with U-NII 4 compatible devices can avoid interference from surrounding WiFi networks, not having to struggle with crowds at lower frequencies.
