Adults Only is dedicated to porn and the adult industry from a female perspective. Director Dawn Shadforth and writer Lucy Kirkwood tell a story about complicated female characters between sexual desire and experiences of abusesolidarity and competition.

Specifically, Hayley Squires’ portrayal of one alcoholic over 30 porn stars, who can no longer balance family and career and ends up reluctantly confronting her own trauma, is impressive. Incidentally, her partner Rich is played by Joe Dempsie, who takes his awkward charm as Gendry Baratheon from Game of Thrones with the inner turmoil of a family father who is overwhelmed.
