There are 6 different classes in the MMORPG The Elder Scrolls Online. We asked you which class is your favorite. And you have decided! We have created a ranking of the classes here on MeinMMO.
On August 7th, we asked you what your favorite class is in ESO. You could take part in this survey until September 2nd at 5:30 p.m. A total of 1,885 of our readers voted and we used your votes to rank all classes.
6th place – The Dragon Knight
What distinguishes the dragon knight? – The Dragonknight has many Fire and Poison abilities, some of which deal damage over time. The class has been around since the release of the MMORPG and was the only class that was playable as a tank in the first few years.
Very few of you voted for the dragon knight. With 280 of the 1885 votes, he was only able to secure 14.85% of the readers’ votes.
5th place – The Necromancer
What distinguishes the necromancer? – The Necromancer has set foot in Tamriel with the Elsweyr Chapter. He can summon undead and use corpses for other abilities. He has a wide range of spells and uses them to inflict many different types of damage. These include disease, flame, frost, and shock damage.
The necromancer is only 2 votes ahead of the dragon knight in 5th place. He was only able to win 282 votes, i.e. 14.96%.
4th place – The Keeper
What distinguishes the keeper? – The Keeper appeared with the Morrowind Chapter. This makes it the first class that only found its way into the game after the release. He can summon creatures of nature such as a Netch, Schroter, and a Bear.
The placement of the keeper was also a very close race. He only reached 287, a total of 15.23%, of the readers’ votes and was only able to prevail against the necromancer.
3rd place – The Magician
What distinguishes the magician? – The Wizard has many lightning spells and can summon Daedric creatures in battle. He’s a popular class for beginners because of his strong shield and high self-healing power.
The Wizard won the really close header race of the last 4 places. He received 290 votes from the readers and thus achieved a share of 15.38% of all votes.
2nd place – The Nightblade
What distinguishes the Nightblade? – The Nightblade’s skills are based on an assassin. She can turn invisible and deals great damage with her Assassin’s Blade executive ability.
The Night Blade was able to secure 2nd place with 320 votes. However, with a total of 16.98% of the readers’ votes, it only had a short lead over the following classes.
1st place – The Templar
What distinguishes the Templar? – The Templar’s abilities are all shrouded in golden glowing light. He is a popular class for healers. Though every other class can now become a healer, he has long been the predominant choice for the role. He is one of the 4 classes that have been in ESO since release.
The clear winner is the Templar. He took 1st place in the race with a 22.6% share and a total of 426 votes.
This makes it the most popular class in ESO by a wide margin based on the results of our poll.
