A former president launching a midterm election campaign Donald Trump performed last night in Pennsylvania for his supporters for the first time since the FBI raid of the Federal Police.
At the beginning of August, the FBI found documents at Mar-a-Lago in Florida owned by Trump, which the former president was suspected to have illegally taken with him from the White House.
Trump accused the FBI raid of his home as a political manhunt.
“The FBI and the Department of Justice have become brutal monsters controlled by radical left-wing thugs, lawyers and the media who tell them what to do,” said Trump.
According to Trump, the FBI had investigated his wife Melania wardrobe and his 16-year-old son Barron’s room.
The US Department of Justice has announced that several highly classified government documents were found in Trump’s personal office during the raid.
The detailed list of seizures also showed that Trump had more than 11,000 unclassified government documents that he claims he owns, but which by law belong to the US National Archives.
Among the seized papers were 18 documents marked “Top Secret”, 53 “Secret” and 31 “Confidential”.
President Biden said in his own speech earlier this week that Trump’s extremist supporters are a danger to the country’s democracy.
Trump attacked the current president Joe Biden against at his campaign meeting.

Trump also repeated his baseless claim that he had won the previous presidential election.
Trump has not yet said whether he intends to be the Republican Party’s candidate for the next presidential election in 2024.
