Three Finnkampers in a row, discus star Daniel Ståhl has thrown over 69 metres. He didn’t do that this year. The Swede stayed at 65.34. Despite that, he won the discus competition. Second was colleague Simon Petterson, in 63.76, and third was Finn Frantz Kruger in 58.08.
Sweden won the discus competition with 13–9 after Sebastian Löschner finished sixth.
In the long jump, the advance favorite Thobias Montler won, at 7.75. He was the only Swede on the podium. Second, third and fourth place were taken by Kalle Salminen, Kristian Pulli and Topias Koukkula. Thus, Finland won the long distance competition at team level with 12–10.
