Pokémon GO removes studs from the 10 km eggs

Last minute The world stood up after Putins decision in

With the new “Season of Light” the egg pool in Pokémon GO has also been adjusted. And especially the 10 km eggs got a good upgrade, think trainers.

New monsters in the eggs: If you look at the currently possible monsters from 10 km eggs, you will notice that the options have been shaken up a bit. Two new entries in the 10 km eggs for the “Season of Light” particularly stand out:

Both are now available at the lowest rarity of 10km Eggs. And that should be good news for collectors in particular, because the two have so far been among the rarest monsters in Pokémon GO.

Now more players should have the chance of the two monsters – and even the shiny version is available.

There are also a few adjustments: Lin-Fu, Spleen, eF-eM, and Minira are all down one rarity tier. However, there are now only three rarity tiers for the 10km eggs.

The pool now looks like this (we have marked possible shinys with an asterisk*)

  • Rarity Level 1: Galapaflos, Flapteryx, Lin-Fu, Wuffels
  • Stage 2: Spleen, Psiau, eF-eM
  • Stage 3: Riolu, Viscora, Miniras
  • Tier 3 shows Pokemon that are the rarest. Level 1 Pokémon will hatch more frequently from 10km Eggs.

It is also noticeable that some monsters can no longer hatch from the 10 eggs.

Trainers are happy about the upgrade of the eggs – the right monsters are out?

These monsters fly out: Four monsters have completely disappeared from the 10k pool:

  • ear but
  • Emolga
  • geronimatz
  • flashion

The change is being discussed by some trainers on the Pokémon GO subreddit. Above all, saying goodbye to Ohrdoch and Emolga is easy for most, since they have little use in the game once you hatch them.

Even Geronimatz and Flampion are now hardly a rarity, although the latter is still one of the strongest attackers in Pokémon GO.

It is noticeable in the comments that some trainers would also have liked to say goodbye to Lin-Fu – they apparently have enough of that by now, especially since you can get that quickly in the fighting league. Overall, the pool change is well received:

  • “Yes, no more Emolga! Finally, ”says a trainer (via reddit).
  • “It’s actually a good change,” says Uster “SilverBeldum1” (via reddit).
  • “That’s pretty awesome! I don’t need Lin-Fu or Psiau, but this still feels like a significant upgrade overall” (via reddit).
  • “This has to be the best 10k egg pick they’ve ever had” (via reddit).
  • All in all, the 10 km egg now mainly contains Pokémon that are at least somewhat rare. While Riolu has been around for a long time, as Lucario he is one of the most popular and best attackers in the game.

Monsters like Wuffels, Miniras, Milza, eF-eM and Viscora may still be missing from some trainers’ collections – just like the two fossils.
