The Rider is a powerful yet fragile film poem
With The Rider, Chloé Zhao has created a moving, powerful film poem of character drama. With the help of melancholy silence, deep mental tears and internal conflicts with your own identity.
The sensational performance of the lead actor, who embodies a slightly fictionalized version of his own life, and the beautifully photographed shots make The Rider a… remarkable drama. In it, the director explores the question of whether a life full of pain and despair can still be changed.
