Van Heck Chiropractic and Rehabilitation opens in West Lorne

New to West Lorne is Van Heck Chiropractic and Rehabilitation, which opened in May in the former PUC building at 168 Main St.

Austin Van Heck was raised in Glencoe and attended high school in Strathroy. He received a Bachelor of Kinetics degree from the University of Windsor in 2016 and his Doctor of Chiropractic credentials from New York Chiropractic College in 2019.

Van Heck joined the Ontario College of Chiropractors in early 2020.

Before opening his own practice, he practiced at Kay Chiropractic in Glencoe and Petrolia Chiropractic.

Van Heck Chiropractic seeks to alleviate the pain, stiffness, and immobility of its clients.

“It would be amazing to bring West Elgin and the surrounding area a full service musculoskeletal health clinic that would include chiropractic, massage therapy, physiotherapy, and naturopathic medicine all under one roof,” said Van Heck. “This one room clinic is a start.”

He said he enjoys West Lorne and the community, admitting to a fondness for small towns.

Van Heck Chiropractic and Rehabilitation’s hours of operation are Wednesdays from 9 am to 12 noon and 2 pm to 6 pm and Fridays from 8 am to 12 noon and 1 pm to 4 pm
