NASA was going to take the first step to go to the Moon again today, but it didn’t happen. Things did not go as planned for the agency, which is preparing to launch the new generation mega rocket Space Launch System (SLS) from Florida and the Orion capsule designed to carry the rocket into space at 15:33 for a test flight.
DETERMINATION FROM NASA FOR ARTEMIS 1
According to the news of BBC Turkish, the US Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) announced that the Artemis 1 launch was delayed due to a technical problem experienced today.
The combined capsule and rocket SLS-Orion spacecraft was scheduled to launch from Kennedy Space Center at Cape Canaveral and return to Earth after a 6-week Artemis 1 test flight around the Moon.
With the Artemis program, NASA aims to once again achieve the success it achieved with the Apollo Project, which it implemented in the 1960s and 1970s.
If the launch failed, the next trial was set for September 2 and September 5.
