September’s Iscalar Event – Start, Bonuses and Shiny
When does it start? The event starts on Saturday, September 3, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. local time. It then runs for three hours, ending at 2:00 p.m. local time.
What bonuses are there? For catching Pokémon, you get double the amount of candies. Keep in mind that this not only affects the event Pokémon, but also raid bosses that you catch after fighting.
There is also an increased chance of encountering shiny Iscalar. Trainers are also familiar with an increased shiny chance from Community Days. However, it is unclear whether the chances are similar this time. In the announcement, Niantic only confirmed that the chance will be increased during the event.
Iscalar Bonus: After the event starts, spinning Photo Discs at PokéStops will grant you special quests that will reward you with Iscalar encounters.
What does Shiny Iscalar look like? Visually, iridescent iscalar are easily distinguishable from the normal form. The shiny is more yellowish while the normal form is mostly blue.
