The Steam Deck manual released by Valve implies that the company has already started plans for Steam Deck 2
Steam Deck 2 may be on the way. Having achieved great success with the Steam Deck, Valve has already started its future plans after the device’s worldwide distribution and success. A section of the 50-page Steam Deck manual that Valve released yesterday is marked “Future: More Steam Deck, Steam Deck OS”.
Steam Deck 2 is among Valve’s plans
The mentioned section of the booklet states that “Valve will continue to develop Steam Deck in the future and will advance it both software and hardware, new Stem Deck versions will be released”. The firm will also design the new Steam Deck based on community feedback:
” Valve will continue to support Steam Deck and the Steam operating system in the future. We want feedback from our community on how Steam Deck can be used.”
Valve president Gabe Newell stated in a recent statement that Steam Deck’s success and intense interest has encouraged the developer team to explore the potential of Steam Deck. The Steam Deck console not only makes Steam libraries portable like a mini computer, but even allows game development.
