Turkish international striker Mevlüt Erding, a former Sochaux and Paris SG player in particular, announced in a post instagram Tuesday August 30 put an end to his career, at the age of 35. He accompanied a photo of him as a Parisian player (2009-2012). The Franco-Turkish striker, trained in Sochaux, where he played pro for four seasons, was transferred to Paris in 2009. He played 110 games for 30 goals scored with the capital club. With these formations, he won two French Cups (2007, 2010). Subsequently, Erding evolved in France in Rennes (2012-2013), Saint-Etienne (2013-2015), Guingamp (2016) and Metz (2016-2017), before launching a last short challenge at Racing Besançon this summer. In the meantime, he played for several clubs in Turkey (Istanbul Basaksehir, Fenerbahce, Antalyaspor, Fatih Karagümrük, Kocaelispor and Umraniyespor), a country for which he wore the national jersey until 2016 (35 caps, 8 goals ).
