The war in Ukraine has now been going on for over six months. According to the UN refugee agency UNHCR, 13 million people have been forced to flee their homes since the war broke out on 24 February. Some are fleeing within the country, while others have left the country. Right now, approximately 40,000 Ukrainian refugees are in Sweden. One of those forced to leave Ukraine is Sofiia Belitch, whose love for Sweden has existed for several years, beginning as early as 2015, when Zelmerlöw won the Eurovision song contest.
