Two people who were found unconscious in a nursing home in Nyköping last week have died, prosecutor Fredrik Beijar told Sörmlands Nyheter, as quoted by Aftonbladet.
– What I can say is that both elderly people have passed away this weekend, says Beijar on Monday.
The people, a woman and a man both aged over 70, were found unconscious in a room at the property on Wednesday morning last week. It is still unclear what happened and how they were injured, but no weapon is said to have been used.
The incident is being investigated as a homicide, but there are no suspicions that any other person was involved. They both must have known each other well.
