I see, I see combines psychological horror with torture terror and a twist
In the film’s plot, a mother (Susanne Wuest) returns home after plastic surgery to recover. But their 9-year-old twin sons (Elias Schwarz and Lukas Schwarz) are quickly sure that here something other than her mother came back. Gradually, the confusion takes on more and more sadistic torture features.
Just over the first two-thirds, I see, I see is the strongest. The directing duo produced by the Combination of sober realism and surreal, frightening horror images a suspenseful form of psychologically unnerving horror.
Just the spectacle of the twin brothers who are from innocent boys to torturing monsters transform, makes I see, I see an extremely oppressive visual experience. And then there’s also a twist towards the end of the film, which of course we won’t reveal at this point.
