On August 30, 2022, the 2nd season of Battlefield 2042 will start under the motto “Master of Arms”. With it, a new map, four Weapons, and an additional specialist come into play.
We received the first information about the 2nd season in Battlefield 2042 a few days ago. Changes in the game were announced in a developer update. Including the return to the well-known class system.
Now, in addition to a gameplay trailer, there was also a specific date when the new season in Battlefield 2042 will start: it will start on August 30, 2022. As new content there should be a new map, four weapons and a specialist.

What new map will there be? The map is called “Stranded” and is located on a dry lake in Paname. The setting revolves around a drained container ship, which is also considered a center for the illegal arms trade.
What new weapons are coming? A total of 4 new weapons will be added in the 2nd season. These are:
Who is the new specialist? The new specialist goes by the name of Charlie Crawford and becomes a support character. Equipped with his Mounted Vulcan Stationary Minigun, he keeps enemies at bay. In keeping with the new map and the motto of the season, he is an arms dealer who can equip his team members with ammunition directly during their revive.

What’s next? As announced in the developer update, Vault weapons can be unlocked in the new Unlock feature “Assignments” and the maps “Renewal” and “Orbital” will receive revised versions in September and October.
