The temperature change in Europe is faster than the average for average temperature increases. And it’s not just Europe that has suffered from the heat this summer. China is currently experiencing the worst heat wave on record, and North America and India have also been hit hard.
In southeastern China, it has not rained for 75 days, and both the country’s longest river and largest freshwater lake have almost dried up.
