A police officer in Skåne is charged for posting a picture of a person’s passport on social media, reports P4 Kristianstad.
It was after a passport check that resulted in a person being rejected with a travel ban that the police posted the picture on their Instagram account.
According to the prosecutor, it is a breach of the duty of confidentiality, to which police officers are subject. The accused police officer has confessed to the act.
