New words about Jonathan Dahlén that the SHL club did not want to hear – the agent’s clear message about the star

Last minute The world stood up after Putins decision in

Timrå is said to be in verbal agreement with Jonathan Dahlén.
But now comes new information about the star.
His agent is now fighting back – hard.

Jonathan Dahlén has been the man of rumors during the summer and there has been no lack of interest in the star since he was dumped by the NHL club San Jose Sharks. Dahlén has never played in the SHL, but in his last two seasons in the Hockeyallsvenskan accounted for 71 and 77 points, respectively.

Clear message

It is easy to understand that clubs like Luleå and Skellefteå are said to have offered hugely lucrative contracts to sign the star – but Timrå has been talked about the most. Dahlén is strongly associated with the team, and this week there were reports in the Swedish media that the club offered the biggest contract in Timrå’s history to get Dahlén to sign.

And according to the same information, Dahlén must verbally agree to sign. But there are divided opinions about the truth. Dahlén himself has said that nothing is ready, and that there is no contract on the table. And it is now further confirmed by his agent.

“It’s too early”

Claes Elefalk, as Dahlén’s agent is called, tells the San Jose Sharks site San Jose Hockey Now that Dahlén’s priority is not to sign for an SHL team at all.

– No offer yet. Dahlén has trained with Timrå, but it is a premature rumor, he says.

Elefalk believes that Dahlén is mainly looking for a contract abroad, and he has not given up hope of continuing his career in North America.

– His priority is still the NHL or the Swiss league. Then we’ll see, he says.

Dahlén was successful in the first half of the recently concluded NHL season, but had a tough time in the spring. He sat in the stands on several occasions, and thus did not receive a new contract offer from the Sharks.
