The time has finally come, gamescom 2022 is in the starting blocks and with it the Opening Night Live. The show event starts tomorrow, August 23, 2022, at 8 p.m. Among the announced games, 6 game highlights have already been announced.

Gamescom starts the new round this week. The trade fair for trade visitors, media and creators will open on August 24, 2022 in Cologne. From August 25 to August 28, 2022, all visitors will then have access to the site.

The opening night live will kick off the event tomorrow, August 23, at 8:00 p.m. in good gamescom tradition. Geoff Keighley, longtime moderator, will be there and present the gaming showcase. One or the other highlight has already been announced below.

The showcase of the games will last about 2 hours and according to the Twitter post by moderator Geoff Keighley, more than 30 games will be presented (via Twitter).
