“They shouldn’t just put the blame on the parents,” says Patricia Scheidweiler. She lives in Leerbroek, while her son has to go to special education in Gorinchem. That is why she submitted an application for student transport in May of this year, just as she did in other years. “Just right on time. But to date I have not heard anything from the municipality at all. Last Friday I called and was told that I would be called back between 4 pm and 5 pm. I just haven’t been called.”
