In rounds during the spring and summer, several schools and preschools in Karlshamn have been vandalized.
Among other things, a number of windows were broken in school buildings at the end of April.
Recently, several cases of new vandalism have been discovered.
At Asarum’s preschool, among other things, a swing in the playground has been cut to pieces and a number of sunshades have been destroyed at Klockebaclskolan.
The municipality has taken a number of measures. For example, the field group visits relevant areas and associations take night walks.
“Unfortunately, the problem still persists and we are trying to fix it with the different approaches we started earlier,” says Jenny Andersson, security coordinator.
