Several of the party representatives on Sergels Torg in central Stockholm state that they have received questions about Kalla Fakta’s disclosure, which showed that five out of eight Riksdag parties, S, M, SD, KD and L, were prepared to circumvent the law on party financing in various ways in order to accept large donations.
Slottner: Continued confidence
But there is nothing that affects Stockholm’s elderly and security councilor Erik Slottner’s view of his own party, this is how he answers the question of whether he still has confidence in KD:
– Of course I have.

V, MP and C, on the other hand, did not try to get around the rules.
– I think it is regrettable that our political representatives unfortunately cause people to lose confidence in all politicians, says Isatou Aysha Jones (V).
But the biggest problem for the parties could be that the disclosure leads to internal mistrust and divisions when the matter is discussed in the party, says political scientist Patrik Öhman, especially for those parties that get bad election results.
