At least twenty people have so far died after an attack on a hotel in Somalia’s capital, Mogadishu. Members of the extremist group al-Shabab, with ties to al-Qaeda, are said to have entered the hotel on Friday evening and now barricaded themselves in a hotel room. Fighting between the attackers and security forces is said to be still ongoing. See images from the event in the player above
