A 25-year-old man has been seriously injured after being stabbed at Hisingen in Gothenburg. According to witness statements, a group of men should have been heard arguing loudly about a bicycle, which then led to one of the men being assaulted with a knife at lunchtime on Saturday.
– Two men have been seen leaving the scene on a smaller black/white Yamaha brand motorcycle and we have several patrols on site looking for the perpetrators, says police spokesperson Christer Fuxborg.
The injured man was taken to hospital by ambulance. According to the police, he has serious injuries, but the situation is still described as stable.
The incident is classified as attempted murder. The crime scene is cordoned off and door knocking has begun.
