Jansen is one of the initiators who made Utrecht the first city in the world to host the Giro d’Italia (2010), the Tour de France (2015) and the Vuelta à Espana (2022). “The level of women’s cycling is so incredibly high,” says Jansen. “And more and more women are cycling in Utrecht. More than half of the members of cycling club CS030 are women.”
