A 250 ml pet water bottle was found in the anus of the patient who was taken to the hospital with the complaint of abdominal pain. He was taken to the emergency room by his wife with complaints of constipation and severe pain, along with the actual X-ray of the man’s pain. The Iranian man was hospitalized with loss of appetite, abdominal pain and inability to go to the toilet.
SHARED AND FEARED
The 50-year-old man, who was also being treated for depression, remained silent for days because he was ashamed and afraid of what he had done. Noticing the full water bottle, the doctors took the patient into surgery.
The bottle was carefully and slowly dragged from the rectum to the opening of the anus and was successfully removed by the surgeon without tearing or bleeding. The patient, who was referred to a psychiatrist, was discharged after being kept in the hospital for five days.
