The rapes are said to have taken place at three in the morning on a weekend in June near Flemingsberg station in Huddinge municipality outside Stockholm.
— It is a group rape outdoors. These four are in custody on probable cause and the plaintiffs and the suspects do not know each other from before, but they only met on that occasion, says prosecutor Katarina Engström to Arbetarbladet.
Charges must be filed no later than August 25, but the prosecutor already states that she will request an extension.
The suspected men are from Sandviken, Huddinge, Motala and Vallentuna respectively. All deny wrongdoing.
“It is through film, among other things, that we have identified them,” says Engström to the newspaper.
