(Finance) – BPER Bank informs that, as already communicated by the subsidiary Banca Carigewith an order filed today, on Court of Genoa revoked the precautionary measure assumed with presidential decree of 25 July 2022, issued unheard of altera part pursuant to art. 2378, paragraph 3, of the Italian Civil Code upon appeal by the shareholder of Carige Malacalza Investimenti Srl, with which the execution of the resolutions passed by the ordinary Shareholders’ Meeting of Carige of 15 June 2022 was ordered, concerning the appointment of the Board of Directors and the settlement waiver of the liability action against previous Directors.
BPER Banca, as the controlling shareholder of Carige, welcomes the issue of the aforementioned provision with satisfactionwhich allows the resumption of the activities of the Carige Board of Directorsalso in view of the next strategic commitments.
