Apple has appointed Kristin Huguet Quayle as the company’s new vice president of corporate communications. Apple said in a statement that Huguet Quayle has played an important role at Apple for over 15 years. Huguet Quayle was responsible for managing communications during the company’s “cryptography war” with the FBI.

Stella Low, who replaced Huguet Quayle, was hired in May 2021. So he was at Apple for less than a year. Apple said Low left the company to spend more time with his family.
