On Friday, January 21, Canada chaired an international meeting on Haiti attended by the Prime Minister of Haiti and representatives of 19 partner countries, the United Nations and other organizations such as the United Nations Development Program or the Organization of American States. This virtual meeting gave participants from France, Brazil, Chile and the United States the opportunity to reaffirm the importance of coordinating international aid and strengthening public security.
