Chelsea’s Thomas Tuchel and Tottenham’s Antonio Conte faced off in a Premier League clash that ended in a 2-2 draw. Antonio Conte still sent greetings to Tuchel on social media.
The coaches stole the show in the Premier League match between Chelsea and Tottenham on Sunday. The local struggle in London, which ended in a 2-2 draw, progressed for about 70 minutes in a relatively calm manner, but that’s how it started to happen.
When there were 68 minutes on the clock, Tottenham’s Pierre Højbjerg tied the game 1–1 with his shot and the team’s head coach Antonio Conte made the most of the situation.
The Italian, living with emotion, applied for the Chelsea pilot by Thomas Tuchel forward and fanned provocatively. Tuchel didn’t like this, and the fourth official had to separate the duo with the help of the teams’ staff. The referee showed both of them a yellow card at this point.

According to Chelsea’s Tuchel, Conte did not make eye contact with him during the post-match handshake.

Conte and Tuchel’s tussle was a source of humor on social media. Conte also returned to the topic at night on his Instagram account. The Italian didn’t notice the German’s excitement after Chelsea’s 2-1 goal because he had buried his face in his hands.
– Luckily I didn’t see you, your struggle would have been right, Conte wrote.
Tuchel said that the intense match affected his behavior.
– Sometimes the match completely takes you away. This match sucked me in. It was pure joy and it can hurt the opponent, but they do the same when leveling. We have no grudges, we fought for our teams. The red cards were a surprise, Tuchel said.
