Already in 2020, the doctor must have been warned by his employer after another doctor at the same healthcare provider noticed that negative certificates had been issued before the test results came from the lab.
The doctor denies that he has issued false covid certificates. However, Ivo assesses that the information is credible and believes that the doctor may pose a danger to patient safety. According to Läkartidningen, the authority also writes that the doctor could have been guilty of a series of crimes such as spreading infection, fraud and false certification.
