Analyst Jeff Pu claimed that the iPhone 15 Pro models will come with a periscope lens capable of 5x optical zoom. In other words, the iPhone 15 Pro models will have the periscope camera capability, like most of its competitors with the Android operating system.
“APPLE MEETS WITH LANTE OPTICS”
According to the analyst, the main supplier of periscope lenses to be used on the iPhone 15 Pros is expected to be Lante Optics. While it is said that Apple and Lante Optics are in talks, it is among the claims in the analyst’s report that the technology giant has taken component samples and the final decision should be made by May.
It is stated that if the components are approved, Apple will include the periscope lens in the high-end iPhone models, which are expected to be called iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max.
