A man in his 40s has been found shot outside in Lerum, east of Gothenburg. Several shots were fired and it was chaotic at the scene.
– He was shot with one shot in the leg, but we know with a fairly high degree of certainty that several shots were fired, says Morten Gunneng, officer on duty at the police.
A large police operation has been underway since 18.30 in central Lerum. Task force, dog patrol, police helicopter and several radio cars moved out.
– We received several calls from callers who told us about shooting and quite a lot of activity, with people running back and forth and shouting and shots being fired, says Morten Gunneng.
