Donald Trump is being investigated for suspected espionage. That’s according to the FBI search warrant against the former president’s compound in Florida and seized documents that have now been made public.
In the raid on Monday, the FBI took a total of 40 boxes of documents. Several documents that were found were classified as “top secret” and were intended to never leave government buildings, writes the Wall Street Journal.
According to information to the Washington Post, the crackdown was carried out due to suspicions that Trump had brought secret documents linked to nuclear weapons.
