According to social manager Ingalill Frank in Säter, part of the interest in extra jobs in the municipality is due to, for example, inflation, which affects rising food and fuel prices.
That the reason for the applications was largely due to the financial situation and the need to take extra jobs to make ends meet surprised her, while she welcomes the interest.
– We have had a difficult situation in healthcare and had fantastic employees who were forced to work overtime and cancel vacations – and it is about the fact that we have too few people of working age, says Ingalill Frank at Säter municipality.
Within the municipality, a working group is now also being appointed to review more ideas on how to attract more people to the municipality’s operations.
