It will be colder in Germany in the fall. In any case, in public buildings that should not have an indoor temperature above 19 degrees, according to Energy Minister Robert Habeck. In the Süddeutsche Zeitung, Habeck announces that legislation will be tightened to keep energy consumption down.
Exceptions will be made for hospitals and other social institutions.
Habeck also announces that buildings and monuments that were previously illuminated during the dark hours of the day will be allowed to stand in the dark.
