Spain inflation confirmed sustained in July

(Finance) – Inflation in Spain confirmed to accelerate in July. According to the Spanish statistical office INE, the consumer price index marked a -0.3% on a monthly basiscompared to -0.2% of the preliminary estimate and + 1.9% of the previous month.

Every yearthere is growth 10.8%, in line with expectationsafter the + 10.2% of the previous month.

Harmonized inflation records a positive variation of 10.7% annually, against 10.8% of the preliminary estimate and compared to + 10% in the previous month. On a monthly basis, the data marks a -0.6%, against the -0.5% expected and after + 1.9% in June.
