Very hot weather is expected for the weekend, with daytime temperatures around 30 degrees in several places. SMHI has issued a yellow warning for high temperatures in northern and central Kalmar county and southeastern Östergötland county.
It is a high pressure with warm air that has moved in over the southern half of the country and the heat is expected to peak during the weekend with around 30 or just over 30 degrees during the day.
At the beginning of next week, the heat will slowly subside, while the weather will become more unstable.
